In the following, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior.

When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (e.g. your e-mail address, possibly your name, address and telephone/fax number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are legal retention obligations.
If we make use of commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. In doing so, we will also state the specified criteria for the storage period.

§ 3 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

§ 4 Further functions of our website
In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested. You can contact us electronically on our website using a contact form. To do so, you will usually have to provide additional personal data that we need to contact you. The data entered in the input mask is transmitted to us and stored. In addition to the IP address used, the date and time are also stored and transmitted.
For the processing of the data, your consent is obtained during the sending process and reference is made to this privacy policy (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If the e-mail contact aims at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO). Alternatively, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO if the user has given his consent).
The collected data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. The data from the contact form and/or sent by e-mail will be deleted when the respective conversation with the user has ended, or the termination can be inferred from the circumstances.
The additional personal data collected during the sending process will be deleted after a period of seven days at the latest.
In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored.

§ 6 Use of our webshop
If you would like to order in our webshop, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract that you provide your personal data, which we need for the processing of your order. Mandatory data required for the processing of contracts are marked separately, other data are voluntary. We process the data you provide to process your order.
For this purpose, we may pass on your data to the transport company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. The transfer includes only data that are necessary for the delivery of the goods. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DS-GVO.
We may also process the data you provide to inform you about other interesting products from our portfolio or to send you e-mails with technical information.
We are obliged by commercial and tax law to store your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years. However, we restrict processing after two years, i.e. your data is only used to comply with legal obligations.
To prevent unauthorized access by third parties to your personal data, especially financial data, the ordering process is encrypted using SSL technology.
§ 7 Transfer of personal data for payment processing
When paying via PayPal or - if offered - credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal and "purchase on account" via PayPal, we pass on your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter "PayPal") as part of the payment processing. When paying with PayPal, the bank data you have deposited with PayPal will be used by PayPal for payment. We have no access to this data.
PayPal reserves the right to conduct a credit check for the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or - if offered - "purchase on account" via PayPal. PayPal uses the result of the credit check with regard to the statistical probability of non-payment for the purpose of deciding on the provision of the respective payment method. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they have their basis in a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. Among other things, address data is included in the calculation of the score values. When paying via SOFORT Überweisung, the online banking data (PIN and TAN) entered by you during the order process in the digital transfer form provided by SOFORT AG will be encrypted by SOFORT AG and transmitted to your bank for execution of the transfer. Your online banking data will neither be stored by us nor by SOFORT AG.
§ 8 Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. On our website, we use the widespread Secure Socket Layer (SSL) procedure in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by the browser you are using.
